Masks | Papier-maché

Personally, l do not think they are masks at all. For me, they are simply faces, theatrical faces which jumped out or extricated themselves from my pictures, sketchbooks, frames. Yes, from the frames. They are free. They may exist against the background of Old Town walls, landscape, the real sky. They may change their clothing for black, green or white dress. Hands are holding, resisting, caressing the face - those hands which may sweep off tears. Living hands. Living figure.
